A Zero Travel LLM Fair for Prospective LLM Students on 1 December 2017

CareerEco is a virtual talent community and recruiting platform for, among others, graduate students. It specializes in initiating huge events, most relevant of which is the coming Virtual LLM fair to be held 1 December 2017, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm Eastern Time. This event will connect prospective LLM students and law schools online. It is a convenient way of learning about the different LLM programs without the need to travel.

The event invites all potential LLM students who wants to enhance their legal knowledge and all law schools which offer LLM degrees. There will be a flexible time frame where each organization may choose their own chat times. Attendees can join the event anywhere in the world as long as there is internet access.

Registration to the event requires a payment of a $395 fee. This is a less costly means of gaining important information that could shape a legal professional's future as there will be no need to travel to countries where the event will take place. Deadline for registration is 24 November 2017. According to CareerEco, the following are included in what the attendee will be paying for:

  • a school profile page showcasing your organization's unique brand
  • your own school's exclusive chat room allowing for real-time engagement
    in group and personalized one-to-one interactions
  • unlimited number of representatives may attend chat sessions
  • tool to conduct video interviews (optional feature - not required)
  • tool to conduct video and/or audio broadcasts or screencast presentations to multiple attendees simultaneously (optional feature - not required)
  • capture resumes and ability to proactively communicate with registered students
  • unrestricted time frame to filter and export candidates' profile details and contact info

It should be noted that a webcam or built-in camera may be used with either Google Chrome or Firefox to access the multi-media options of CareerEco. Various law schools have signified attendance to the event including the following:
