Washington University School of Law Online LLM in US Law Now Available
Not all LLM students want or have the time to attend full LLM courses especially if they are from another country. Washington University School of Law has addressed this issue by providing an opportunity for legal experts to get a degree from their school through attending an online LLM course.
The LLM in US Law is specifically designed for international students who are seeking a deeper understanding of the US legal system but don’t want to relocate to campus grounds. The program is filled with research and writing project but students are also taught how to communicate like US attornies.
After completing this LLM program students are eligible to take the bar exam for the state of California and Washington.
This LLM program is a 24 credits course. All students will need to take a 3-credit mandatory introduction course and then spread out the other 21-credits across their elective courses.
For those that are interested, there is an on-campus weekend learning experience organized within the year. It is held in St. Louis, Missouri and it includes a 1-credit elective course, live court hearing, and meet-ups with federal and state judges.
The priority deadline for their January 2020 intake is set for October 21st, 2019 while the application deadline is set for December 9th, 2019.
