Washburn Law LLM in Global Legal Studies Now Accepting Applications
Washburn University School of Law has started accepting applications for their LLM in Global Legal Studies.
The applications for this LLM program are organized to be accepted on a rolling basis. Keep in mind that applications will be processed once all documentation has been submitted and not before.
Students can apply through two different institutions:
- Washburn Universit School of Law
- Office of International Programs
Students can apply for the Fall intake which has an application deadline set for August 1st. They can also apply for the Spring intake (2020) and the deadline for applying for this one is December 1st, 2020.
Still, applications that are submitted after the deadlines have passed will be considered (if there are seats remaining) but international students should apply before the deadlines so the governments have enough time to process their visa paperwork.
This program also prepares students to meet the qualifications standards for entering the New York bar exam.
This LLM program offers a few specializations that students can pick from:
- Oil and gas law;
- Corporate and commercial law;
- Public law;
- Legal analysis, writing, and advocacy;
The faculty members of the Global Legal Studies LLM program will work with students to help them navigate through the flexible nature of the program. This will allow students to find a path that will lead them to the career in law they wanted.
