University of Virginia Shares New Information Abou LLM Applications for 2020 Program
The LLM program at the University of Virginia is a full-time master of laws program which students can complete within two semesters. The application deadline is set for February 1st, 2020. After this date, all applications will be considered based on the number of seats that remain.
Applications are submitted electronically by using LSAC by adding attachments and using forms. The fee for the application through LSAC is $80.
International students whose primary language is not English are expected to submit a TOEFL or IELTS score report as proof of their ability to follow classes in English. They also need to have an academic law degree that is the equivalent of the US juris doctor degree to be considered eligible for the LLM program.
This LLM program is very flexible as students can build their own curriculum by picking law courses available at the University of Virginia. There are very few courses that are unavailable to LLM students.
As a minimum requirement for students that wish to complete this program a 12 credit hours per semester minimum has been set. Students need to accumulate a total of 24 credits within two semesters to get their LLM degree.
