The CLAT 2019 Registration for NLUs in India Postponed for January 13
The official registration process for CLAT 2019 in India was supposed to start on January 10, while the exams were initially scheduled to take place on May 12, according to clat.ac.in.
On January 9, however, the information posted on the CLAT 2019 official website was changed.
According to the latest news, CLAT will start accepting applications for this year’s entrance exams on January 13, while the date of the exams remains the same.
For candidates belonging to SC or ST category, the minimum marks requirement is 40%.
Students applying for the five-year integrated law degree should have cleared class 12 or equivalent with minimum 45% marks.
All those interested in applying are invited to submit their application forms along with a Rs 4,000 fee. The registration form and other necessary documentation will be available on the CLAT 2019 official website until the end of February.
The official online source of all relevant information in regard to CLAT 2019 is no longer clat.ac.in., but clatconsortiumofnlu.ac.in.
The source also reveals that CLAT boasts a total of 2984 vacancies for the year of 2019.
CLAT, or Common Law Admission Test, is a mendatory requirement for all future students who are hoping to earn a seat in BA LLB (Hons), BSc (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons), BSW LLB (Hons), BCom LLB (Hons), and LLM programs available at the National Law University (NLU) in India.
