The Birkbeck University of London Releases New Information about Their LLM in Human Rights

Birkbeck University has released new information about its LLM/MA in Human Rights. This is a one-year full time or a two-year part-time program.

Students who wish to enter the full-time variant will need to attend two weeks of classes in May and June/July. Students taking the part-time variant will be taking classes online spread out over two years.

Being that the application period has started all the way back in 2018 we’d like to advise you to apply as soon as you can - seats for this program are limited after all.

Students who get accepted should know that the Birkbeck Orientation Event is set for Saturday, September 28th. This a perfect opportunity for those who have no experience with Birkbeck to get the know the facilities and the faculty - you can find out more about the event here.

Here are the fees for this program:

Part-Time:

EU Students £5500

International Students  £8400

Full Time:

EU Students £11000

International Students £16800

The basic requirement to be eligible for the Human Right LLM program second-class honors degree (2:2 or above) from a UK university, or an equivalent international qualification. For a full explanation for the entry process, you can refer to Birkbeck University’s official website.

If you find anything about the Human Rights LLM program confusing or unclear you can always contact their faculty through the official student support channels.
