Susan Mulikita, LLM, Appointed the First Female CEO of ICT in Zambia
Leading pan-African telecoms group Liquid Telecom has taken another step forward in developing a culture of inclusiveness and women’s empowerment by appointing Susan Mulikita the first female CEO of an ICT organization in Zambia.
Susan graduated from the University of Zambia with a Bachelor of Laws degree, after which she continued studying law at the Buckinghamshire New University in the UK, where she obtained an LLM in Information and Communications Technology (ICT).
She’s been in ICT for more than twenty years since then, helping both public organizations and private sector as a qualified practitioner of Telecoms/ICT Policy, Law, Regulation, and Management. Airtel is one of the most notable names on her long an impressive portfolio.
Now she is the first woman ever to become a member of Liquid Telecom’s Southern Africa regional leadership team as chief executive officer. Wellington Makamure of Liquid Telecom describes her appointment as an exciting new step into the digital future.
