Queen Mary University Extends its Deadline for LLM Applications

Good news for those running late in completing their requirements for an LLM degree. Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) has extended its earlier deadline for its LLM programmes. Prospective LLM students now have until September 6, 2017 to submit their application for the academic year 2017-2018.

QMUL is one of the few universities that offer a wide range of choices for LLM specialist porgrams which include, among others:

  • LLM in Criminal Justice
  • LLM in Human Rights Law
  • LLM in Environmental Law
  • LLM in Competition Law
  • LLM in Banking & Finance Law
  • LLM in Insurance Law
  • LLM in International Business Law
  • LLM in Immigration Law
  • LLM in Tax Law
  • LLM in Intellectual Property Law
  • LLM in Energy & Natural Resources Law
  • LLM in European Law
  • LLM in Commercial & Corporate Law
  • LLM in Environmental Law
  • LLM in Public International Law

The extension was provided by QMUL following the addition of several new specialist modules to its LLM programs. This allows incoming Master of Laws students with added flexibility, particularly with the university’s LLM Flexible Study programme, where the degree can be taken in two to four years, part time. This is a perfect opportunity for those with busy careers and schedule who still would like to pursue higher legal education.

With only limited spaced available, you should apply as soon as possible. Otherwise, students may need to wait for next year’s LLM classes. International students requiring visas may need to either fast track their visa applications or wait for QMUL's 2018 LLM courses.
