QMUL Offers an LLM in International Shipping Law Program in Greece
Lawyers and legal professionals whose field of focus is in shipping and its applicable laws will be interested in the LLM in International Shipping Law offered by the Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) in Piraeus, Greece. QMUL is based in London but has presence in Paris and Greece. The LLM in International Shipping Law was offered in Piraeus following the success of the same LLM program in London. It is accredited by Greece's Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS).
The Piraeus-based LLM in International Shipping Law is offered by QMUL's Center for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS) and will be administered by its staff in Greece. The LLM program is taught at the Hellenic Management Centre (HMC) in Piraeus, one of the largest maritime training centers in Greece and the country's Official Educational Provider of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers. HMC commits itself to providing professional development and education within the industry of shipping.
The LLM program in Greece is designed for lawyers and practitioners who have acquired relevant professional experience. It may be taken full time for one year or part-time for two years in one or two intensive blocks to allow for flexibility. Students on the program will be given access to HMC's computing and printing facilities, library, wifi areas and the local libraries, including Laskarides Library, which boasts an extensive Maritime Section.
