The Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) will hold an LLM Open Day in Paris to discuss with interested students the LLM in Paris program offered by QMUL and taught at the University of London in Paris (ULIP) near Invalides. The LLM Open Day will be held Wednesday, 11 April 2018, between 11:00 am to 4:00 pm (CET). The event's venue is at Room 107, 1st Floor, University of London Institute in Paris, 9-11 rue de Constantine, Paris 7ème.
Representatives from QMUL will go to ULIP to meet with prospective LLM students, either individually or collectively, and answer any questions they may have about the LLM in Paris program. Program Director, Professor Maxi Scherer, will be at the event along with Program Administrator Samantha Heffernan and Assistant Manager Anna Gray.
An innovative Master of Laws program, QMUL's LLM in Paris is developed by the Center for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS). It is taught in English by prestigious visiting lecturers and QMUL academics, and will lead to a QMUL qualification. Students of this program may choose to pursue an LLM in International Business Law or specialize in any of the following areas:
- Banking and Finance Law
- Comparative and International Dispute Resolution
- Energy and Natural Resources Law
- Intellectual Property Law
- Technology, Media and Telecommunications Law
Interested students will need to take note about the following application deadlines for the corresponding intakes:
- September 2018 intake - deadline is 27 July 2018
- January 2019 intake - deadline is 30 November 2018
