The University of Sussex, UK is partnering with the Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption Center (ROLACC) in Doha, Qatar to offer the LLM in Corruption, Law and Governance. This LLM program is certified by the University of Sussex and applications to the degree are now accepted online.
Applications may be submitted through http://www.sussex.ac.uk/study/masters/apply until 1 June 2018. Those who will apply beyond this date will still be considered on a space-availability basis. The LLM in Corruption, Law and Governance program will begin September 2018. It is a taught program offered part-time for two years. The LLM program is taught in English by University of Sussex faculty and delivered on-campus at the ROLACC center in Doha.
The LLM program was launched in 2016 and was the first of its kind in Doha. It has since then accepted about 40 students to participate in the program coming from various specializations and fields. The program focuses on the challenges confronting the Arabia Gulf region and aims to fight corruption by starting with education.
Through the LLM program, students will gain knowledge, and actual experience and training on all corruption-related fields including Compliance and Risk Management, Anti-Corruption and Anti-Bribery. ROLACC will work closely with relevant organizations as the G20 and the United Nations to help students develop strategies in the fight against corruption.
Throughout the LLM program, students will be able to effectively contribute to the promotion of the objectives of the United Nations Coalition Against Corruption (UNCAC), as well as the Qatar National Vision 2030.
