Munich, Berlin and Frankfurt are the Venues for e-fellows.net's LLM Day in 2018

Three LLM Day events are scheduled by e-fellows.net for 2018 in Germany. The venues are Munich, Berlin and Frankfurt. e-fellows.net is a Munich-based company founded by Deutsche Telekom AG, the Holtzbrick Publishing Group and the McKinsey & Company. It is the first online-based scholarship program in Europe. It collaborates with 200 business schools and universities and at least 20 corporations. The following are the relevant details for the three events:

At an e-fellows.net LLM Day, students will get the opportunity of meeting representatives from the most reputable law schools. Adequate time for conversation and networking is assured as only a limited number of participants will be accommodated.

The events are open to law students, lawyers, doctoral candidates and lawyers in training. Law student participants must have completed an undergraduate degree or will earn one next year. Only applicants belonging to the top 10% to 20% of their year are invited to join.

For German applicants, application forms may be filled out and directly sent through e-fellows.net's LLM Day German sites. For the rest of applicants, an email should be sent via llmday@e-fellows.net containing the name, e-mail address, and favorite law schools.

The following is a list of law schools which confirmed their attendance in both the Munich and Berlin LLM Day events:

The law schools listed hereunder will likewise be joining the Munich LLM Day but has yet to confirm for the Berlin event:

  • Penn State Dickinson Law (Carlisle, USA)

Participating law schools for the Frankfurt LLM Day is yet to be announced. The agenda for each LLM Day will be as follows, though this may still be subject to change:

  • 10.30 am - 11.30 am: Admission
  • 11.30 am - 12.00 pm: Opening remarks and introduction of the law schools
  • 12.00 pm - 12.45 pm: Group sessions with the law schools, general discussion of the LLM
  • 12.45 pm - 1.15 pm: Coffee break
  • 1.15 pm - 3.15 pm: LLM forum. Exhibitors tell about their programs at their stands.
  • 3.15 pm - 4.15 pm: LLM panel discussion with lawyers from leading law firms and companies
  • 4.15 pm - 5.00 pm: Lecture about the U.S. bar exam and the UK Solicitors Qualifying Exam (only at select LLM Days)
