One of Northern Europe's oldest universities, Vilnius University is the largest in Lithuania and the oldest in the Baltic states. Its Faculty of Law offers an LLM in International and European Union Law, an officially registered full-time program which, upon its completion, will provide the graduate with a European-wide recognized LLM qualification.
In line with its objective of creating a world-class educational institution, Vilnius University Faculty of Law is currently offering scholarships to eligible students. The scholarship is open to nationals from Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova and Kazakhstan who will be admitted to the LLM in International and EU Law program.
Applications to the LLM scholarships are currently on-going and will be accepted until 11 May 2018. It is only available to the eligible nationals who intend to pursue the LLM program of Vilnius University that will start September 2018. The Master's degree program must be taken in Lithuania full-time, in residence.
The scholarship will cover the full tuition costs of €5,250. The fund will not be paid to the student directly but will be applied on the tuition. To be eligible to apply, the LLM candidate must be a holder of a recognized law degree or its equivalent jurist qualification from Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine or Kazakhstan. Applicants whose first language is not English will need to demonstrate English proficiency.
To apply for the scholarship, candidates must submit a letter of recommendation, scanned copy of the transcript of records of grades and diploma, and a letter of motivation that should indicate the name of the University where the applicant graduated or will graduate from.
