Legal professionals and graduates who are seeking further education beyond their undergraduate degree, or who are simply looking for a means of improving their careers, should consider attending the Postgraduate Open Day event at Sunderland University. The University offers, among others, several LLM programs from which prospective students may choose from. The following LLM degrees may be considered by potential applicants:
- LLM in Law
- LLM in International Law
- LLM in Commercial Law and International Trade
- LLM in International Human Rights
- LLM in Criminal Law and Procedure
All LLM programs must be taken in residence for one year. Each program starts October and applications are on-going for the 2018 intake. LLM classes will start 15 October 2018. More important information about what the University offers will be provided during the Postgraduate Open Day.
Attendees will be able to speak with the University’s academics regarding the programs or course of interest. They will also be given a tour of the campus and its facilities and attend talks about LLM funding. The different accommodation facilities will likewise be explained to them.
It would interest potential LLM candidates that 95.8% of its graduates either get employment or further legal education only within 6 months of graduation. Those who would like to participate in this event may register through the University’s website.
