Goethe University Master’s Program LLM in Legal Theory Accepting Applications
Goethe University is located in Frankfurt, Germany and they offer one of the best LLM programs focusing on Legal Theory.
The university has organized this program in cooperation with five other European universities:
- The University of Bologna (and EUI Florence)
- Université libre de Bruxelles
- University of Glasgow
- University of Lucerne
- Stockholm University
This program is a two-year course and all lectures are in English so it is perfect for international students.
The classes for this program start in late Octobre as a part of their Winter semester. The preparatory classes for this LLM start in early Octobre.
The applications are accepted on an ongoing basis and according to their official website, there are usually open places as late as late September. Still, in order to ensure a greater chance to be accepted students should apply earlier than that. International students should take into account the time required to take care of the visa.
The tuition for each individual semester is 3,600 EUR so yearly this amounts to 7,200 EUR.
Some students may be eligible for a partial waiver of the fee and this is something they will need to inquire with their student support.
The EALT university cluster enables this LLM and it is one of the most advanced legal studies in EU.
