Dharmashastra National Law University – Applications Open for 2-Year LLM Program

From September 30th to October 15th, 2018, the Dharmashastra National Law University will be accepting applications for its two-year long Latin Legum Magister program, based in Jabalpur.

The Dharmashastra National Law University has a total of thirty empty seats for its 2018-2019 LLM class, which is due to start in November 2018.

All candidates interested in pursuing a postgraduate LLM degree at Dharmashastra National Law University will have to meet the following requirements:

  • Ten + two years of schooling from a recognized Board or Institute
  • Three-year Bachelor’s degree from any UGC-recognized University
  • Three-year LLB degree from any UGC-recognized University
  • At least 60% marks in total, or at least 55% for SC/ST candidates

Alternatively, the Dharmashastra National Law University LLM candidates will have to ensure their eligibility with:

  • Ten + two years of schooling from a recognized Board or Institute
  • Five-year BBA LLB (Hons.)/B Com LLB (Hons.)/BSc LLB (Hons.)/BA LLB (Hons.) degree from any UGC-recognized University
  • At least 60% marks in total, or at least 55% for SC/ST candidates

Candidates will first be ranked based on the percentage of marks they have obtained during their undergraduate programs, and then invited to the Dharmashastra National Law University for a follow-up interview.

The interviews will be scheduled for anytime between 22nd and 23rd October 2018, while the merit list and the waiting list will be revealed two days after, on 25th October.  

For this LLM class, the academic year of 2018-2019 will commence on November 1st.
