Delhi University LLB and LLM Entrance Examination Late Application Nears Closing

Students who wish to enter Delhi University’s LLB or LLM program in 2019 course year should be aware that the late application period is nearing its closing date.

For both LLM and LLB course the final date for application is the end of May, 2019.

Delhi University has set aside 2719 seats for graduate and post-graduate students in 2019. They’ve been split up between LLB students (2611 seats) and LLM students (108 seats). Based on these numbers it seems that the competition will be fierce this year, especially for the LLM programs so we advise you to focus on your preparation so you can up your odds.

The Admit Card for the exam will be available in June for LLB students while LLM students can expect to get one even sooner, at the end of May.

Exam dates are set for June, 2019 for both LLM and LLB students while the results of the exams should be expected in July.

Before you decide to enter one of these courses we recommend that you check if you meet their eligibility requirements.

Students aiming to enter their LLB program should know that they need a Graduation degree from Delhi University or an accredited equivalent. They also need to meet the minimum grade requirement:

  • Gen Category Candidates – 50%
  • OBC Category Candidates – 45%
  • SC/ST Category Candidates – 40%

Students who wish to enter their LLM program should know that they need an LLB degree from a 3 to 5 year LLB program eligible for an LLM.
