For those contemplating an LLM degree at Syracuse University, it should be noted that the Law School has set 15 November 2017 as the deadline for submission of applications for the Spring 2018 intake. The deadline for submission of applications is 15 May 2018.

Syracuse Law is a renowned private law school. Currently, the School of Law offers an LLM in American Law, an advanced legal degree open only to foreign-trained lawyers who want to broaden their knowledge of the American law and legal process. All requirements set forth by Syracuse Law are in compliance with the New York State Board of Law Examiners.
Prospective students of the LLM in American Law may submit their applications online through the Law School Admission Council (LSAC). Applicants should have a law degree from a law school outside U.S. to be eligible. Given that the Master of Laws program is open only to international students, one of the requirements is an English proficiency score of 95+ for TOEFL (6.5+ for IELTS).
