Application Deadline for LLM Spring 2018 Intake at CWRU is 1 November 2017

The Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) was established in 1967 through the alliance of Case Institute of Technology and Western Reserve University. Since then, CWRU has become one of the US's premier independent research institutions. It has received numerous accolades, the most recent of which include the following:

  • Currently Ranked 27th among US universities
  • Ranked 9th in Health Law for 2018 according to the U.S. News & World Report
  • Ranked 12th in International Law for 2018 according to the U.S. News & World Report
  • Ranked 15th in practical training for 2017 according to PreLaw Magazine
  • Rated "Top School" for Intellectual Property Law for 2017 according to PreLaw Magazine

It is clear to any aspiring legal professional or law graduate who wants to get an LLM degree that CWRU is one of the best institutions to consider. Gund Hall is home to CWRU School of Law. Currently, the following LLM programs are offered by the Law School:

  • LLM. in U.S. & Global Legal Studies
  • LLM. in International Business Law
  • LLM in Intellectual Property Law
  • LLM in International Criminal Law
All LLM degrees take one year to complete and should be taken full-time onsite. There are two intakes each year: Spring (January) and Fall (August). Interested applicants must take note that the deadline for applications for the January 2018 classes is 1 November 2017. As for the Fall intake, the deadline is 1 April 2018.  Applications submitted after the deadline may still be considered on a space-availability basis. Applications may be submitted online through the LSAC or e-mailed to the CWRU Law School admissions office.
