Boston University School of Law - LLM Professional Development
The Boston University School of Law provides its students with an excellent opportunity to explore any area of law in more than 200 classes and seminars, over 20 clinics, and internships, and 21 opportunities for studying abroad. Its five LLM degree programs, tailored to the professional needs of every student, helping them become accomplished attorneys and build successful law careers, include:
- LLM in American Law Program
- Graduate Program in Banking & Financial Law
- LLM in Intellectual Property Law Program
- Executive LLM in International Business Law Program
- Graduate Tax Program
The faculty’s LLM Professional Development staff, full of experts in their fields, provides the LLM students with career advice, information, various resources, and top-quality guidance to help them achieve their career goals. They provide them with one-on-one counseling to help them effectively search for great jobs opportunities, and teach them how to write resumes and cover letters.
The students can also perfect their networking and interviewing skills, as well as attend a wide array of career-related workshops and panels. The LLM students are also provided with access to the school’s online job, internship, and pro bono and career resource database.
It doesn’t matter whether the students are engaged in the BU School of Law’s one-year LLM program, attend evening classes as part-time students, or are enrolled in the school’s online education programs – the LLM Professional Development staff helps all of them develop the necessary professional skills to reach their individual career goals and become experts in their fields.
