In cognizance of China's "Belt and Road Initiative," the Peking University STL offered the Belt and Road Scholarship for its LLM program. To encourage such lawyers, STL is offering the scholarship that will cover 25% of the tuition fee of the STL LLM program. Awarding the funding will be merit-based and open only to applicants from countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative. The deadline of both the application for the LLM program as well as the Belt and Road Scholarship is 31 March 2018.
Besides those mentioned, the scholarship applicant should also be a holder of a prior law degree or a Master's degree in related area or licensed to practice law in the country of origin.
