The recently launched English-language LLM by the Waseda University Faculty of Law will begin its classes on April 2018. However, prospective students have a further a small window for applications between October 9 to 20, 2017. Those interested in this LLM course should therefore submit their completed requirements within this time frame.
The program offered is LLM in Asian Economic Integration and Law. It aims to prepare its graduates to work in the Asia-Pacific region. Legal professionals and law graduates who take this program will gain a better understanding of how law and business in the Japanese region intersect.
The LLM program lasts for one year and must be taken in-class in Waseda Law's campus located in Tokyo. All courses in the new LLM program will be taught in the English language and are set to provide students with both practical and theoretical expertise in the integration of Asian law and economy. The October 9 to 20 application period comprises the online registration of students and fee payment screening. Those who will be subjected to an interview will conduct it on November 11, 2017. Waseda Law School will announce the successful applicants by November 16.
