Applications Now Open for LMM Programs at Washington University in St. Louise
US-trained lawyers can now apply for LLM programs at Washington University in St.Louise School of Law.
There are four LLM programs that US-trained graduates can choose from. They are as follows:
-LLM in Taxation
-LLM in Negotiation and Dispute Resolution
-LLM in Intellectual Property and Technology Law
As you can see, WashULaw provides LLM students three very popular LLMs along with a customized LLM option which allows them to create a custom LLM course to best suit their planned career path.
The eligibility for these programs starts with having a degree from a US-based laws school. In some cases, students with an undergraduate law degree will be considered based on the quality of their mars at the school they attended and any tax courses they’ve taken (for LLM in Taxation). LLB students from schools outside of the US will have to pass a two-semester course, Introduction to US Law and Legal Methods, so as to ensure they have the required understanding of US law in order to keep up with their LLM courses.
In order to apply for these courses students will have to:
- Fill out the official application form
- Provide one letter of recommendation
- Provide all official academic transcripts in English for all the graduate, undergraduate and professional schools they’ve attended along with their class rank.
All inquiries should be directed to WashULaw official channels if any confusion arises during the application process.
