Applications for a diverse range of LLM programs are now open at the Cardiff University School of Law and Politics. The Institute is one of UK’s world leading universities and offers students great flexibility through its LLM programs, some of which available online and others on-campus.
The following LLM programs, which begin September 2018 and are taken on-campus, are now open for applications:
- LLM in Law
- LLM in European Legal Studies
- LLM in Governance and Devolution
- LLM in Human Rights Law – in residence
- LLM in Intellectual Property Law
- LLM in International Commercial Law
- LLM in Legal and Political Aspects of International Affairs
- LLM in Shipping Law
- LLM in Social Care Law
The following LLM programs are available through Cardiff University School of Law’s distance learning (online) platform:
- LLM in Legal Aspects of Medical Practice
- LLM in Canon Law
Except for the online LLM programs, the courses may be taken full-time for one year or part-time for two years. Students can take the online LLM degrees within two years. The University encourages students to apply early. The application deadline for the September 2018 intake is the end of July 2018. Submissions beyond the deadline will be considered on a space-availability basis. International students should consider the time required for visa applications.
Cardiff University offers scholarship schemes to UK and EU students taking the taught LLM programs. Those who intend to apply for the 2018 LLM degrees may also apply for the scholarships. The application deadlines for are 7 March 2018 and 4 July 2018.
