University of WestminsterThe University of Westminster was established in 1992 in London as a direct result of the Further and Higher Education Act. It was previously referred to as the Royal Polytechnic Institution which was originally founded in 1838.
The University has nearly 25,000 students from over 100 countries and offers a wide range of course offerings and research study options. It has a very central location on Regent Street in the West End of London. The University has long been recognised for its scholarly and research contributions.
In 2002, the University established the Westminster International University in Tashkent at the behest of the government of Uzbekistan. There are currently plans to develop a campus in Turkey.
