BPP Law SchoolBPP is a professional education company with numerous facilities around the world. BPP is the holding company of the UK-based provider of professional and academic education. It has been a subsidiary of the American for-profit higher education company Apollog Global since July 2009, having formerly been listed on the London Stock Exchange and a constituent of the FTSE 250 Index.
BPP has many centers of professional training throughout Europe, in Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Holland, Hungary, Ireland, Malta, Poland, Romania, Slovenia and Slovakia, and also in China.
The law school
BPP Law School is a UK-based provider of professional legal education and is currently one of the largest in the country, with branches in Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Leeds, Liverpool, London (Holborn and Waterloo), Manchester and Newcastle. In 2007, BPP Law School became the first privately owned, publicly-traded firm in the United Kingdom to be granted the right to issue degrees. The School is part of BPP University College which, in turn, is owned by BPP Holdings plc.
BPP Law School has strong ties to a wide consortium of "Magic Circle" as well as "Silver Circle" law firms to educate their future trainees. BPP Law School is a vocational provider of the Legal Practice Course (LPC) for future Solicitors, and the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) (formerly known as the Bar Vocational Course, or the BVC) for future Barristers. It also awards Graduate Diploma in Law (for those coming directly from a non-LLB qualification) and LLM degrees. In 2009, BPP Law School provided its first programmes in undergraduate law, whose students qualify for loans by way of the student loans company.

Graduate with an LLM and a CISI award
BPP Law School has been designated by the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) as a 'Centre of Excellence' in the field of investment regulation and compliance. This means that if you graduate with our LLM (Financial Regulation and Compliance) or follow our new specialist module in financial regulation and compliance on our LLM (Professional Legal Practice) you will be eligible for full CISI membership and will qualify for the award of the CISI Diploma in Investment Compliance** in addition to the LLM.BPP's LLMs are intellectually stimulating, enabling stidents to obtain an in-depth understanding and knowledge of issues at the forefront of their intended area of practice. Subjects are diverse and range from Intellectual Property Law to Islamic Financial Law. BPP values face-to-face tuition and as such offer regular seminars with a maximum of 16 students. The dissertation is a compulsory module for which you are supervised by an academic and a lawyer who practices in an area relevant to the topic of your work, giving you the full support you need to succeed.
