Subject: Enforcement of the judgment in Gubby v Smythe

My dearest Catherine

I am so sorry to have to write to you once more on what must seem a relatively trivial matter.

Despite all of my efforts, I have still heard nothing from Smythe’s lawyers concerning the outstanding damages award. Therefore, I should be extremely grateful if you would be so kind as to draw up the necessary claim for enforcement as we discussed during our recent telephone conversation. The award may seem fairly small, but to our client it is a victory the importance of which goes far beyond the mere monetary.

I remain, as ever, yours very truly

Robin Banks
