Words that don’t belong in a contract

Please sign up for the course before starting the lesson.

Contract writing is not creative writing and should be clear, straightforward and precise to avoid ambiguities. When drafting contracts, it is thus advisable to use common words and common meanings. This task trains you in good drafting practices by asking you to choose the one provision in each set of two that has been correctly drafted.
