Gwen is editor of the World Law Dictionary – Japan. Before becoming a translator, she was an English solicitor and worked for commercial law firms in London, Tokyo (including one year in-house with Itochu Corporation) and Zurich as a general commercial lawyer.

Since moving back to the UK she has been working as a freelance translator from Japanese and German into English, specialising in law, literature and fine arts. She has over 16 years’ translation experience.

Gwen is a Fellow of the ITI and the CIOL and a Member of the BDÜ.
