Transfer your sensitive documents in a secure system
As the spread of information becomes more rapid and widespread on an almost daily basis, the need for reliability and security in information transfer is growing at an almost exponential rate.
When handling sensitive information, it is important that the chain of security is not compromised in any way, at any stage of the process. That's why TransLegal offers its clients the secure transfer and processing of sensitive documents and files through the secure document transfer and sharing system, Meltwater Drive™.
All communication with the system is encrypted using SSL encryption. This includes both the login process as well as the actual file transfers. The encryption is of the same type and strength used in Internet bank transfers.
Each client receives a personal online folder; this folder can be accessed using any of the most common web browsers on the market.
Documents, or other types of files, can be easily and securely copied to and from this folder.
The process works as follows:
1. A client contacts TransLegal via e-mail or phone regarding a sensitive translation.
2. The client then receives information via phone regarding login details to the system. This information includes a web address, a company ID, a username and a password.
3. The client then goes to the website, logs in and immediately sees their folder. There they can, completely securely, copy their documents to the system.
4. Upon receipt, TransLegal directs the documents to the correct translators and proofreaders. All internal document transfers at TransLegal are made using the secure system.
5. When the translation has been completed, the client is informed and can then securely collect the translated document from the system.
6. Upon confirmed delivery to the client, the documents are securely deleted from the system.
