Negligence is the failure to do something that a reasonable person would do under the circumstances, or the doing of something that a reasonable and prudent (=careful) person would not do under the circumstances. Put more simply, it can be described as the failure to be as careful as the law demands. This quiz tests your knowledge of the language of negligence.
