Maritime law (1)

Maritime law, also known as admiralty law, governs international trade at sea. It includes laws regulating ships and shipping, the transportation of passengers and goods by sea and all people involved in navigating or assisting in the conduct of a ship. The term maritime law does not generally include what is commonly referred to as the “law of the sea”, which regulates the use of the oceans and ocean resources.
