road rage noun

a violent attack by a driver on another car, its driver, on someone involved in controlling road traffic such as a police officer, or on someone nearby such as a pedestrian. Road rage incidents are caused by the anger a driver feels about the way another driver has been driving, the way a police officer has acted, or the way a pedestrian is behaving etc
In a tragic case of road rage, a traffic policeman was run over following a heated argument.
