adhesion contract noun


a standard contract drafted by the party with greater bargaining power, usually a big company, in which the weaker party, usually an individual or a small company, has no power to negotiate the terms and must adhere (=stick) to the contract as written
Those assets are frequently held in online accounts governed by adhesion contracts called "Terms of Service Agreements".
