TransLegal has cooperated with Cambridge ESOL, a division of the University of Cambridge, in the development of the Cambridge International Legal English Certificate (ILEC), the world’s first internationally-recognized test of Legal English (www.LegalEnglishTest.org). TransLegal is also the author of the definitive course book on Legal English, International Legal English published by Cambridge University Press which is sold throughout the world.

TransLegal’s cooperation with leading international associations of lawyers and law students include cooperation with, for example, the European Company Lawyers Association and the European Law Students Association make Legal English products and services available to tens of thousands of lawyers around the world.

TransLegal is a Corporate Partner of the European Law Students Association providing members of ELSA with benefits such as discounts on TransLegal’s online courses, free pre-testing of the Cambridge ILEC Legal English examination at interested local ELSA groups, and more.

TransLegal is engaged in a joint project with the European Company Lawyer Association to provide a language portal to be included in the ECLA website giving ECLA members free access to online Legal English resources, discounts on TransLegal’s online courses and Legal English magazine, and discounts on the Cambridge University Press Legal English coursebook.

The University of Parma offers a post graduate course, "English For Law and International Transactions". The course combines linguistics and practical legal experience. The course is CLE acredited. The International Legal English course book and PLEAD are used in the course.
